The Mizuno JPX 800 Hybrid utilizes explosive "Hot Metal" face technology within an extremely playable "Ultimate Dynamic Stability" (U.D.S.) design. This U.D.S. design utilizes multiple design technologies and a 1770 stainless maraging steel "Hot Metal" face to greatly increase vertical and horizontal moment of inertia, resulting in maximum ball speeds and massive distance, even outside of the sweet area. In addition, strategic internal weighting and patented "Drop Down Crown" deliver a perfectly low and deep center of gravity for an easy launch and optimal trajectory for long, accurate shots that allows for +/- 2 degree lie adjustability and easy alignment behind the ball.
