- PING have looked at how they design a wedges and have done things a little bit different with the Glide. They started at the grip and worked towards the sole so every aspect works with each other for maximum performance around the greens.
- Each Glide wedge is made from a chrome plated 431 stainless steel which helps repel water from the grass to give you maximum levels of grip and generate more spin around the greens.
- PING believe the Gorge Groove Technology used within the Tour Wedges is the most precise way of milling grooves within the golf industry. As the grooves are milled at PING's HQ in Phoenix, Arizona they are able to monitor and control every action to give each wedge maximum spin and the ultimate levels of control.
- Every possible variant is monitored by PING including the groove width, depth, spacing, radius and wall angle. This eye for quality shows on the golf course and you generate a more consistent trajectory and spin levels from a variety of lies and conditions.

The Glide Wedge from PING is available in three different sole options so you can fit your wedges to your swing and the conditions which you are playing on. These sole options include:
- Thin Sole (TS): This sole option is perfect if you have a shallower swing so the lower bounce on this specific sole while allow the club to react better with the turf for a more consistent contact.
- Standard Sole (SS): This sole option fits in with the majority of swing styles with a variety of loft options combined with the perfect bounce angle so you strike the ball perfectly every time.
- Wide Sole (WS): This sole option is perfect if you have a steeper angle of attack into the golf ball to it helps to get the club moving across the turf without issues more often.
- PING's Dyla-Wedge grip is slightly longer than a traditional grip (3/4") so you get extra control and versatility by gripping down slightly on the grip. Each grip has guides to help you maintain consistency in your hand placement.
- Each wedge is fitted as standard with a CFS Wedge Steel Shaft.
