Both irons offer an updated Tour V.T. Sole that glides smoothly through the turf, progressive grooves to improve consistency, and forged construction from a soft 1020 carbon steel body that absorbs vibrations for an extremely soft feel.

MAINFRAME

Created with human intelligence and fine-tuned with artificial computer systems. It's a milled pattern, these patterns are variable thickness made up of grooves, channels and cavities in the hope it increases ball speed from the face for impressive distance. The Mainframe lives in the SUP10 face, which is lightweight and seriously strong whilst providing a soft forged feeling golf iron. 

PROGRESSIVE GROOVES

The goal for improved iron play is ultimately consistency, having irons the perform consistently regardless of weather or lie conditions which is why Srixon have designed the ZX5 Irons with progressive groove. The 4i - 7i feature wide grooved for longer shots in all conditions whereas the 8i - PW (Pitching Wedge) showcase deeper grooves set closer together, ideal for sliding through the turf and imparting impressive spin on those approach shots. 

TOUR V.T. SOLE

Srixon's improved V-shaped soles will glide through the turf effortlessly, even when hitting slightly chunky and behind the ball, often leading to a huge reduction in distance and control, not so with Srixons V sole. The heel and toe split sole notches also are re-introduced, loved by tour professionally the notches enhance workability without sacrificing forgiveness. 

MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION

Super high-density Tungsten is placed in the toe of each club, increasing the irons MOI (Moment of Inertia) where stability and forgiveness are needed most. The forged 1020 Carbon steel body absorbs vibrations and generates an impressive premium sound upon impact.
