The SureFit CG system in TS2 has been replaced by a sole weight positioned in the back of the head that likely boosts forgiveness and launch.
Titleist's Active Recoil Channel returns after it was introduced in the 917 fairway woods. With 917, the channel was opened into the head and filled with an elastomer insert and a hollow core for more flex at impact. The polymer in the channel had other benefits as well, including a more muted sound and softer feel at impact.
The heads appear to differ in size and shape with the TS2 offering a slightly larger profile than the more compact TS3.
